With over twenty years of experience, Steve’s production and engineering abilities have earned him the reputation as one of the industries finest. “Steve brings a friendly and professional atmosphere to the recording process. Steve’s career began in Detroit, Michigan, where for over fifteen years his talents, his ear for music, and his easygoing demeanor made him one of the most in-demand studio professionals in the business. Steve moved to the Des Moines area in 2005 and founded Capp Audio Productions.

Jamie Stepp:  Studio and Location Engineer - Consultant

Jamie is the Production Supervisor for the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines. Jamie is an invaluable addition to the engineering team at Capp Audio Productions.

Jamie’s artistic and creative abilities have quickly established him as one of Des Moines’ finest. Jamie’s professional demeanor and his grasp of today’s sound resonate with his clients. His instinctive feel and musical ear bring a refreshing and cohesive characteristic to all of his projects.

Chad Jacobsen: Studio and Location Engineer - Studio Technician

Chad is the Systems Specialist and Chief Recording Engineer for the Department of Music at Iowa State University. Capp Audio Productions is proud to have Chad as a part of our team.

In addition to his extensive list of studio projects, Chad has recorded and mixed hundreds of live orchestral and choral projects. He has worked on projects in Russia (Kaliningrad and Saratov) as well as projects in South Africa.

As a Studio Technician, Chad maintains the gear and keeps our computer’s running like clockwork. He hand makes all of our studio-cabling, ensuring the highest standards of recording quality.
